From the moment you enter, you sense the pulsating energy. Dance-happy couples party in sync with the music at Pacha Nightclub. You’re a guest of the Three-Sun Riu Naiboa in Punta Cana, and the fun is just getting started. Most of the throng is from one of the Riu resorts in this Punta Cana complex.
When you’ve finished a soothing walk through the resort’s tropical gardens, stroll to the coconut palms and creamy white sands of Arena Gorda Beach, just a short walk from the resort. Gentle breezes make this stretch of beach ideal for staying cool while tanning on a complimentary lounger. If a nap is more your speed rather than body boarding, try tanning on the terrace solarium or at the resort’s free-form pool.
I just returned from a 5 day stay at the Riu Naiboa. I had a great time. This is the third time that I have stayed here, and I have always had a great time. Yes, this is the lower end hotel in the Riu complex, but the food is good, the people are great, and the beach is fantastic.

The hotel is gorgeous, just like the entire resort. Despite the fact that the surroundings are rather wild, there is constant entertainment available. Additionally, it is possible to spend each evening in a different hotel (there are bingo games, concerts, discos, etc.).
I went to a number of hotels and this one seemed the best – the pool was large, clean, there were many beach chairs available and there weren’t as many guests as in other neighbouring hotels. The food was excellent, with lots of vegetable dishes and fresh fruit. The beach seemed heavenly, like something you see in catalogue photos.
