If you’ve always wanted to scuba dive but never had the time or opportunity, your dream can become reality at the all-inclusive Riu Caribe Cancun. With its own dive center, Scubacaribe, and a pool devoted to scuba training, you’ll be scuba-ready in no time. Once you’re trained, making your way to the coral reefs is easy. Just book a Scubacaribe excursion.
Once you’ve maxed out on the serene beauty of the deep, you’ll need a place to chill. There’s no better place to take it easy than the lounge chairs at the main pool. This monster body of water stretches 125 yards–longer than a football field! And when you want to wet your whistle, nearby poolside and swim-up bars put a cold hurricane or margarita within easy reach.
If you’re up for some action, head out to the 300-yard sparkling, white beach, where you’ll find everything from banana boats to catamarans. And if you want to gain a little altitude, how about a parasail? Don’t forget to hang on tight to that tow line while enjoying the high-flying view of Cancun’s turquoise waters below.
My husband and I were both really pleased with the Riu Caribe. The service was excellent, the food good, and the beach and pools were very nice. There were a lot of night time events available including lobby bands, acts in the Calypso bar, and the sports bar. The gym equipment was ok – nothing too great. The bed was a little hard for us but it wasn’t awful. The view from our balcony was amazing even though we were on an angle. We would go back to the Riu Caribe.

This hotel is absolutely fantastic. The staff are absolutely lovely, the food is great, something for everyone, always fresh and top quality. This is the cleanest hotel I have ever stayed in, the rooms are really nice and modern. It was my 40th birthday and they put balloons and banners in my room and also left a gift on my bed. I cannot think of anything negative to say at all about this hotel. I loved it!
