Pack a bag and jet-set your way to the all-inclusive, bungalow-style resort Riu Bambu in Punta Cana. Set on the luminous shores of Punta Cana’s Arena Gordo Beach, Riu Bambu is a laid-back Punta Cana charmer, perfect for families, singles and couples alike. This resort is home to Riu’s “Service with Heart” mantra, brought to life by the fantastic staff at Eternal Spa. This full-service spa, complete with a beauty salon and a hairstylist, offers an array of original relaxation treatments designed to make every day aches a distant memory.
Planted soundly on the legendary palm tree-shaded sands and clear waters of Arena Gordo Beach, the resort gives guests plenty of picturesque space on the soft sands to lie back and enjoy the view. Dedicated pool-dwellers find their solace at one of two pools at Riu Bambu, including one with a swim-up bar, an adjoining Jacuzzi and a children’s pool. Complimentary sun loungers, towels and parasols are available on the vast sun terrace.
This was our 3rd trip to Punta Cana and the 2nd time at the bambu. The staff from the maids to the managers were the most pleasant people all the time. I am thinking about bringing my whole family including my 2 grandchildren in April or May 2013.

The Beach: Absolutely beautiful, a long and deep beach with white sand and lots and lots of palm trees. One of the best beaches i’ve seen. The staff keep it quite clean, no garbage to be found anywhere and the sunbeds are rearranged and dusted off every night. There was always enough shade, drinks, activities and food steps away and overall very pleasant and comfortable. The grounds are quite big so one can go for walks at night. Lots of lights and activity at night and the grounds are beautiful. There were plenty of people and it felt fun and upbeat. Overall for the price I was very happy!
